Hidden Corners of Hoi An – Lanterns, Coffee and Traditional Craft

Description

Away from the busy streets of Hoi An Old Town, small passages reveal a quieter side of the historic city. This weathered yellow wall, framed by lush greenery, leads into a narrow alley filled with colorful Vietnamese lanterns. Above it, a simple G7 coffee sign and a handmade Pineapple Making Workshop sign add layers of everyday life and local craftsmanship.

What caught my eye was the contrast between the aged architecture, the vivid lanterns and the handmade sign. Nothing here feels staged. It is one of those small details you discover while walking through Hoi An — a reminder that travel photography is often about looking beyond the obvious landmarks and finding the stories hidden in the streets.
