Rainy Night at Hoi An Night Market – Life Continues in the Rain

Description

A sudden downpour turns the Hoi An Night Market in Vietnam into a world of reflections, color and movement. Behind the rain-covered food carts, vendors continue working while visitors search for shelter beneath umbrellas and transparent raincoats. The Vietnamese flag stands out against the dark night, adding another layer of local identity to the scene.

What caught my attention was the contrast between the brightly lit street food stalls and the darkness surrounding them. Water-covered surfaces reflect the market lights, while the rain itself becomes part of the photograph. For me, these are the moments that make travel documentary photography interesting — not a perfect postcard, but everyday life continuing despite the weather.
